Celebrating its 75th birthday this year, the National Basketball Association (NBA) has delighted fans the world over for over seven decades. It's also been the birthplace of countless footwear icons from the Chuck Taylor to the Air Jordan 1. Amongst the A-list of hardwood-turned-streetwear sneakers is the humble Nike Dunk, and it, along with the NBA, will be celebrating the Association's diamond anniversary with a handful of special team-themed releases, including this NBA x Nike Dunk Low "Knicks" colorway. (Unofficially) honing in on the heavily-supported franchise that is the New York Knicks, the celebratory kicks come clad in the Knickerbockers' signature orange, blue and white, seen here linking with blacks and greys, too. The latter serves the upper layers, quarter overlays, and liners, while the team hues hover of the forefoot (orange) and Swoosh/heel combo (blue) before returning to black and white underfoot. Completing the design are special anniversary tongue tags and diamond-etched dubraes that serve as a nod to the celebratory event.

While the other re-issued models returned as a High, the next Nike SB Dunk Pigeon release returns as a low-top. The Nike SB Dunk Low will come dressed in a Pink-based colorway with its signature Sienna accents and an embroidered Pigeon logo on the heel.

Taken from a larger City Pack, the Fragment Design x Nike Dunk High 'Beijing' presents a refreshed take on the creative partners' original Dunk High collaboration from 2010. The materials and color palette remain mostly unchanged, but the mismatched design of the original is discarded in favor of traditional color blocking. The high-top carries a leather upper that combines a purple base with contrasting black overlays and a matching black Swoosh. Fragment's signature lighting bolt logo is stamped on the lateral heel, while fine-print branding is inscribed on the white rubber midsole.

The Nike Dunk Low SE 'Multi Camo' dresses the vintage hoops shoe in white textile with mismatched leather overlays in clashing camouflage prints. On the right shoe, the forefoot overlay is rendered in orange and yellow hues, while the heel overlay combines a burgundy base with varying shades of green. The left shoe features greyscale camo on the forefoot and desert camo on the heel overlay. Dropping in January 2020, the Dunk SB Low 'Tie-Dye Raygun - Black' brings back a fan favorite from the height of Nike SB's Pink Box era. The design is updated with a tie-dye effect in honor Sandy Bodecker, the late Nike executive credited for the success of the Swoosh's skateboarding division. The shoe itself is inspired by the Roswell Rayguns, a fictional ABA team featured in a Nike Basketball marketing campaign from 2002.

Like the original, this pair features a two-tone purple finish on a buttery all-suede upper, with contrasting hits of dark red on the Swoosh, heel tab and laces. Launching in collaboration with the legendary jam band, the Grateful Dead x Nike Dunk Low SB 'Orange Bear' features an ursine design theme inspired by the back cover of the 1973 live album, 'History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear's Choice).' The low-top makes use of a furry orange upper, overlaid with tonal suede paneling and accented with a bright green Swoosh outlined in bold jagged lines. A bear graphic adorns the tongue, equipped with a hidden stash pocket.

This 'Pacman' edition of the Dunk Low Premium SB takes inspiration from the iconic 1980s arcade game. The low-top design features a pink and aqua color palette reminiscent of the Pacman marquee along with piping, stitching, and branding in the character's signature yellow. This colorway hit skateshops and a few other retail locations in 2009.

Off-White x Futura x Dunk Low SB 'UNC' featured a UNC-esque blue and white color scheme with bright orange laces.Other details include Abloh's signature collaborative branding stamp on the side panel, Helvetica "SHOELACES" text on the laces, translucent outsoles that act as a window to Futura's recognizable signature, and the addition of an unconventional lacing system atop the traditional setup of the Dunk Low.
