Only seventeen episodes of the show originally aired from September 6, 1969 to September 4, 1971. These Nike SB reflect the colors of the main character H.R. Pufnstuf, a dragon who is the mayor of Living Island where a boy named Jimmy finds himself stranded with his magic gold flute Freddy.
The Dunk Low Pro SB "Cali" pays tribute to the Golden State with a design that mimics the state flag. The upper makes use of a white leather base with a brown suede quarter panel and bright green midsole—a nod to the central design of the California flag, which showcases a grizzly bear atop a patch of grass.
