Celebrating its 75th birthday this year, the National Basketball Association (NBA) has delighted fans the world over for over seven decades. It's also been the birthplace of countless footwear icons from the Chuck Taylor to the Air Jordan 1. Amongst the A-list of hardwood-turned-streetwear sneakers is the humble Nike Dunk, and it, along with the NBA, will be celebrating the Association's diamond anniversary with a handful of special team-themed releases, including this NBA x Nike Dunk Low "Knicks" colorway. (Unofficially) honing in on the heavily-supported franchise that is the New York Knicks, the celebratory kicks come clad in the Knickerbockers' signature orange, blue and white, seen here linking with blacks and greys, too. The latter serves the upper layers, quarter overlays, and liners, while the team hues hover of the forefoot (orange) and Swoosh/heel combo (blue) before returning to black and white underfoot. Completing the design are special anniversary tongue tags and diamond-etched dubraes that serve as a nod to the celebratory event.

The Fragment Design x CLOT x Nike Dunk Low SP '20th Anniversary' brings together a trio of heavy-hitting creative partners, who've united to celebrate two decades of the Hong Kong-based streetwear brand founded by Edison Chen. He and longtime friend Hiroshi Fujiwara dress the Nike Dunk in a tearaway white silk upper, inspired by CLOT's 2018 Air Force 1 collaboration and featuring the brand's tonal Silk Royale pattern. Contrasting black accents land on the tongue, collar lining and back tab, marked with mismatched CLOT and FRGMNT branding. A semi-translucent rubber cupsole anchors the low-profile silhouette.

The Supreme x Nike Dunk Low OG SB QS 'Black' represents an homage to the partner brands' Dunk High release from 2003. The low-top brings back virtually every key feature of the older shoe, including a white leather base, printed gold stars and contrast-colored overlays in croc-embossed leather. Gold Nike hits at the heel tab and woven tongue tag are matched by a gilded Supreme lace jewel. Inside the shoe, Supreme and Nike SB branding decorates the custom sockliner, finished in a bold red hue and fitted with a Zoom Air unit for lightweight cushioning.

The original "Hemp" Dunks from 2004 are now regarded as classics and with five years passing since their release, it seems like as good a time as any to bring the concept back for more. This version gets a little more complicated than the originals, which sported the hemp material on the shoe's entire upper. It throws in more additional accent colors and also breaks up the color blocking with a combination of orange suede and hemp on the upper. These kicks also feature an orange midsole, as well as a black Swoosh and some splashes of brown and red on various sections of the shoe, including the spotted lining.

The Diamond x Dunk Low SB 'White' reunites the two brands responsible for one of the most coveted sneakers of the mid-2000s. This collaboration from November 2018 once again features the Dunk Low silhouette, done up in an all-white leather build with croc detailing borrowed from the original. A detachable metallic silver Swoosh reveals a Velcro layer underneath, finished in Diamond Supply's signature aqua hue. Of the three colorways (black, white, yellow), this white colorway was only available at core skate shops.

Developed in collaboration with the iconic San Francisco jam band, the Grateful Dead x Nike Dunk Low SB 'Yellow Bear' features a unique design inspired by the back cover of 'History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear's Choice),' a live album originally released in 1973.
