The Air Foamposite One XX QS 'Big Bang' was first sampled in 2012, featuring a printed graphic that showcased a section of the galaxy with sprawling nebulas and star formations. Ultimately that graphic was scrapped in favor of the released 'Galaxy' Foamposite during All-Star Weekend 2012. Pulled from the archives, the original graphic returns on this 'Big Bang' Air Foamposite One. The model released exclusively at the Foot Locker Sneakeasy pop-up store in Boston in January 2018 before seeing a wider release around All-Star Weekend.

This July 2017 re-release during the 20th anniversary of the original Foamposite design also includes a black carbon fiber plate, an ice-white translucent rubber outsole, and Penny Hardaway's '1Cent' logo on the heel.

The Air Foamposite One 'Swoosh' updates the retro hoops shoe with reflective detailing made up of numerous Nike Swooshes printed on the black Foamposite shell. Additional reflective accents are applied to a pair of webbing pull tabs, good for easy on and off. Penny Hardaway's signature 1 Cent logo appears on the tongue and heel as a nod to the sneaker's '97 roots. It all rides on an icy translucent rubber outsole, providing durable traction underfoot.

Fourteen-year-old Elijah Diggins applied his own inspiration to the Air Foamposite One as part of Nike's annual Doernbecher collection, featuring a primarily red graphic throughout the molded casing on the exterior. A black gradient appears just above the midsole, while the eyestay is formed with a leather application instead of the traditional nubuck textile. Elijah's signature appears on the heel loop and on the ring that's applied to the tongue.

The Foamposite One 'Tianjin' features a classic Foamposite shell with traditional Chinese graphics all over. The sneaker also boasts a carbon fiber midfoot arch, mesh accents on the eyestay and inner sleeve, and replaced the "1 CENT" branding at the tongue with pink lotus flowers.
