Immortalized in the 1989 film 'Back to the Future II,' the Nike Mag was finally released to the public in September 2011. Though the shoe lacks the self-lacing feature, it's an aesthetic match to its filmic counterpart, complete with an electroluminescent Nike logo on the strap and glowing LED arrays at the midsole and heel. The 2011 production run was limited to 1500 pairs and released through charity eBay auctions where proceeds went directly to Michael J. Fox's Foundation in finding a cure for Parkinson's Disease.

The Nike Air More Uptempo 'White Black' presents a simplistic two-tone colorway of a '90s hoops shoe made famous by Scottie Pippen. The mid-top carries a white perforated leather upper with oversized 'AIR' lettering outlined in black. Matching black accents make their way to an embroidered Swoosh atop the toe, a jewel Swoosh at the heel, and dual pull loops that assist with easy on and off. Lightweight cushioning comes courtesy of a Phylon midsole with visible Air-sole cushioning under the forefoot and heel.

The base of this Air More Uptempo is clean white tumbled leather, matching the white mesh tongue and white rope lacing system. The distinctive oversized "AIR" leather patches are in the same colour but with the collection's "Nike" and basketball icons embossed all over. Each patch is outlined with Royal Blue. The same embossed material can be found covering the heel panels with jelly Royal Blue Swooshes right smack in the middle of each heel. All-white sole units with exposed Air bubbles round out the look of this shoe.
