The Union LA x Nike Dunk Low 'Argon' is drawn from the three-piece 'Passport Pack,' which takes inspiration from the '90s, when the Union crew logged countless air miles as they hunted down exclusive sneakers and streetwear. The three styles pay homage to a trio of cities that the retailer called and presently calls home — New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo - while offering a modern spin on early 2000s colorways. In September 2019, New York-based apparel brand Supreme and Nike SB continue their legendary partnership with a special pack of the SB Dunk Low. Concepts and Nike SB are back at it again, with a new iteration of the 'Lobster' inspiration. The Dunk Low Premium SB 'Purple Lobster' is similar to the three previous executions, inspired by odd color specimens found in nature due to genetic abnormalities that make their exoskeleton appear in different shades, such as yellow, blue and purple. Special details include a red and white plaid pattern on the lining, and an elastic band wrapped around the forefoot similar to how lobster claws are secured.

As the first shoe from Nike's skateboarding line, the Dunk Low SB took the 80s basketball model and converted it into an iconic skater shoe. This version, the Dunk Low SB Premium 'Newcastle Brown Ale' sneaker, revamped the silhouette with beer-inspired design. The June 2008 release is constructed of layered overlays that are dressed in colors that take cues from the UK ale manufacturer's label, as well as the color of the brew.

Releasing in August 2005 as part of the Team Manager series, the Diamond Supply Co. x Dunk Low Pro SB 'Tiffany' drew long lines and campouts at skate shops throughout the country.
