The 2021 edition of the Nike Dunk Low 'Michigan' offers a low-top interpretation of one of the silhouette's original ‘Be True to Your School' colorways, first released in 1985 and previously retroed in 2020. Nike teamed up with UNheardof and Anonymous to release the SB Dunk Low 'Nasty Boys' in September 2015. Done up in the red and grey road colors of the Cincinnati Reds, the shoe pays tribute to the team's 'Nasty Boys' relief corps of Norm Charlton, Rob Dibble and Randy Myers, who were instrumental in the Reds' 1990 World Series championship over the Oakland A's. (Unofficially) honing in on the heavily-supported franchise that is the New York Knicks, the celebratory kicks come clad in the Knickerbockers' signature orange, blue and white, seen here linking with blacks and greys, too. The latter serves the upper layers, quarter overlays, and liners, while the team hues hover of the forefoot (orange) and Swoosh/heel combo (blue) before returning to black and white underfoot. Completing the design are special anniversary tongue tags and diamond-etched dubraes that serve as a nod to the celebratory event.
