Concepts and Nike SB are back at it again, with a new iteration of the 'Lobster' inspiration. The Dunk Low Premium SB 'Purple Lobster' is similar to the three previous executions, inspired by odd color specimens found in nature due to genetic abnormalities that make their exoskeleton appear in different shades, such as yellow, blue and purple. Special details include a red and white plaid pattern on the lining, and an elastic band wrapped around the forefoot similar to how lobster claws are secured.

The Union LA x Nike Dunk Low 'Argon' is drawn from the three-piece 'Passport Pack,' which takes inspiration from the '90s, when the Union crew logged countless air miles as they hunted down exclusive sneakers and streetwear. The three styles pay homage to a trio of cities that the retailer called and presently calls home — New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo - while offering a modern spin on early 2000s colorways. This pair features unfinished red stitching and a tearaway ripstop upper that reveals a leather underlay in varying shades of blue. On the lateral side, a yellow 'UN/LA' tag accompanies a heel emblem marked with Union's Frontman graphic. The logo reappears on the blue translucent rubber outsole.

Launching during Pride Month 2022, the Nike Dunk Low SB 'Be True' celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community with a unique design centered around individual expression. The low-top carries a leather upper with a crisp white top layer that's designed to wear away, revealing multicolored panels underneath. A Nike wordmark is debossed on mismatched heel tabs in bright purple and teal, while 'Be True' is inscribed on the lateral heel in embroidered lettering. The phrase is repeated on the foam sockliner, featuring a springy Zoom Air unit embedded in the heel.

There's no slowing down for the Dunk in 2021 with Nike set to embark on the silhouette's biggest year ever. Already having previewed dozens of upcoming options for the new year - from general releases to more OFF-WHITE collaborations - yet another appears. This time around, it's a Low version of the original "UNLV" Nike Dunk from 1985. It's a Low that Virgil Abloh used as a base on his selection of Nike Dunks in late 2019, which in itself will drive up the hype. This, though, is void of any OFF-WHITE flair — no external lace overlays, tack-on stitching or exposed-foam tongues, just straight-up classic construction. "Soft Grey" sets the stage for the eye-catching "University Red" that overtakes every overlay across the upper, liner and laces. "NIKE AIR" branding at the tongue also indulges in the scarlet tone atop a grey tag, with the heel embroidery reversed. Sole units remain unchanged from the OG, arriving in a classic white and red arrangement to complete the design.

Made in collaboration with Virgil Abloh's luxury streetwear brand, the Off-White x Nike Air Rubber Dunk 'University Blue' reimagines the retro low-top with design elements borrowed from the lifestyle running space. The latter includes an upper taken from the P-6000, rendered in white mesh with blue accents and metallic silver overlays, and visible Air cushioning in the gum rubber cupsole. Virgil leaves his personal stamp via an orange tab on the outlined Swoosh and Helvetica text on the medial side panel.

Taken from a larger City Pack, the Fragment Design x Nike Dunk High 'Beijing' presents a refreshed take on the creative partners' original Dunk High collaboration from 2010. The materials and color palette remain mostly unchanged, but the mismatched design of the original is discarded in favor of traditional color blocking. The high-top carries a leather upper that combines a purple base with contrasting black overlays and a matching black Swoosh. Fragment's signature lighting bolt logo is stamped on the lateral heel, while fine-print branding is inscribed on the white rubber midsole.
