The Gundam x Nike Dunk High SB 'RX-0 Project Unicorn' is taken from a collaborative series celebrating the Tokyo 2021 Summer Olympics. Nodding to the enduring mecha-based sci-fi franchise and accompanying toys, this pair showcases a unique design inspired by the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam. Designed in collaboration with the artist Todd Bratrud, the Nike Dunk High SB 'Strawberry Cough' delivers a literal interpretation of the fragrant marijuana strain for which the shoe is named. The two-tone upper, resembling an actual strawberry through a blend of textured red leather and hairy green suede, rides on a semi-translucent rubber cupsole. Crafted in partnership with the Athens-based skate shop, the Color Skates x Nike Dunk High SB 'Kebab and Destroy' takes inspiration from a mainstay of Greek cuisine: the gyro. The tan suede upper represents the pita wrap, the white leather toe box symbolizes tzatziki sauce, and the brown elephant-print heel overlay gives the nod to the protein component. Tomato-red accents land on the laces and leather Swoosh. Color Skates' logo adorns the lateral heel of the left shoe, while the right features an embroidered gyro graphic. The same artwork is repeated on the custom insole, featuring Zoom Air cushioning in the heel and accompanying 'All In' text on the left shoe.
