The sneaker comes dressed in white with Cement Grey accents on the toe box and heel and Fire Red detailing on the eyelets and on the tongue. The model also boasts a translucent sole with a red stripe, exactly where MJ took off from the line. Other details include "3:51" lettering on the back pull tab to remember the time Jordan took flight, and "147" on the tongue as a nod to his final score.

Unlike most Chinese sneakers, this one uses a calm earth tone in the color scheme! The body of the shoe is made of leather with excellent texture, quilting and other crafts, showing the luxury specifications. The seal character "Ling" on the side of the shoe is affixed with cloth to highlight the theme, while there are hidden details in the middle of the shoe. A 1988 Tinker Hatfield Air Jordan 3 sketch comes off the page and into reality for the first time ever. This Tinker edition shows off Hatfield's unique idea to utilize a Nike swoosh on the lateral profile, with a stitched NIKE logo on the medial side. These details were removed in the final Air Jordan 3 design in favor of a more clean look. Launched on the designer's birthday in 2018, Tinker's signature can be found stitched on the inside of the tongue as well as on the box top and hang tag.
